So here’s the major Wallflowers news that happened to me… I WON TICKETS TO SEE THE WALLFLOWERS AT AUSTIN CITY LIMITS ON SUNDAY!! I saw the post on Twitter at the last minute (I don’t get notifications) and I had to rush off right away since it takes 4 hours to get there from my house!! I only missed a few songs from the opening act and caught the last two songs (I wasn’t too upset though because it was the same band from the show in Dallas on Friday, My Jerusalem).

Of course I saw all of The Wallflowers show though, and it was amazing as usual of course. They played some more of the songs I was wishing they would play in Dallas on Friday (How far you’ve Come in particular!) :) Even though I had to get there last minute there was only 1 person in from of me (and for the encore, none!!) And Jakob recognised me on stage and talked to me, asking about a drawing I was holding up that I sketched in the car, yeek! (which I actually caught on video, whoo!) It was so great… Got a lot of pictures and videos too… Luckily I didn’t lose any either!! No meet up but I knew there wouldn’t be since ACL/Moody Blues Theatre is so big. I did get to have my sketch signed by the singer of My Jerusalem, who’s was really lovely to speak to!

I was so ecstatic, I never win anything! And I would never be able to afford ACL tickets either (the were $70 each, and I won two!!). Such a lovely night it was!
